Watching Riley nearly choke up describing it as the happiest time of his life was really touching. Five (six?) years ago, he broke his back in an oil rig accident, reached probably the lowest point in his life and decided to make a major change. Now here he is, everything has fallen into place after soooo much hard, hard work to get here. With the love of his life, a new baby and after finageling a sweet ride. Hats off mate, you're an inspiration.

Gail Albers you are entitled to have your opinion however did you never cross the road? IF you have children did you ever drive in a car with them? Life is full of dangerous things. Even the most benign events could turn to tragedy in an instance. And God forbid something should happen to either one of them, it's not like Lenny would be the first child to grow up with just one parent.

And I wish I had the opportunity and guts to do this when I was in my 20's. Instead, I kind of thowed my years away. But hopefully it's not to late finding a lifestyle with heart, living the rest of our life as we should and feel for. Don't have to be like this, on the sea. We maybe have other dreams to follow. I've been following since 2015/16 and the standard of video has improved out of site. I've always loved the content but the actual camera work now is superb. The close ups and moving focus shots on seemingly random parts of the boat are serene and beautifully captured. The music content is always understated yet adds to the quality and overall feel. The underwater shots, like last week, are amazing. Enough of the critic awards write-up HAHA. I've screen-shot a few of the underwater scenes and now have a shot of Riley, pushing away Butt-face, as my screensaver lol. I look forward to yet more adventures . Cheers from Bundaberg

You shouldn't feel nervous and fearful; attacks are rare, but you shouldn't be chumming the ocean nor entering the water with bleeding wounds either. Sorry to hear about your friend. What were the circumstances of his attack? Was he simply young & foolish like we all are? Luck, both bad and good, is so much of life - Aristotle had that right.

What amused me a lot was Riley moving Lenny’s little hands away from the bottle without even looking down or interrupting his conversation.

I’m kind of late to the party as I’ve just found this channel this evening on KZfaq. I’ve been binge watching episodes but love when Riley says “today is just one of those days, if life gets better I don’t want to know about it”. After having a rough day myself it has been a wonderful reprieve to watch this vlog!!!!

Great Video! You two er...Three! You three are amazing and I love to see your adventurous life unfold. It is so blindingly obvious that you are fantastic parents. Riley, to see the joy in your face and hear your words when you said that it was the happiest you've ever been and know its because you have the loves of your life, Elayna and first swabbie Lenny, with you was probably the most endearing moment you've ever filmed. Then again it would be hard not be happy with such a beautiful woman as Elayna is and that adorable son of yours. Cheers Mates!

Why anyone would think he'd be anything but, with two handsom parents like you two, I wouldn't know. Good to see Riley still has two arms.! Loved the video. Keep up the nice work guys ! ❤

Been watching you guys for years and love all you two do. I’ve witnessed the... “You should be wearing a harness more often” and lets not forget “neckgate!” Being a fellow Aussie that shares a “she’ll be right” kind of attitude, I really hate saying this... but when old mate was teasing the tiger sharks through the hatch with the tuna, all I could see was the hatch potentially getting bunted off 🤦‍♂️🤯😬 btw you guys are doing a great job with Lenny. He’s one lucky little dude.👍

hi!-i love you guys-but i got really really scared for you-IMHOP-it’s a little irresponsible to take this risk, because it is a risk you took, you just never know when a wild animal might turn on you( remember the grizzly man? worth watching the documentary by Werner Herzog) and you have a baby now! he still needs you. i would’ve been much more impressed if you had NOT gotten in the water.

@@gailalbers1430 There's something about dancing on the edge that is very disturbing for me. They've got unavoidable storms, pirates, and nasty beuracracies, etc.....that can't be avoided. Groups of big sharks should be appreciated from the deck.

Jeff Moore yeah-i sm worried when Elena carries Lenny too close to the side of the boat! what if he wiggles too vigorously and slips her grip ?-but on top of all the dangers already inherent in living on a boat that sails the deep oceans: to court death by voluntarily attracting a bunch of huge man-eating sharks and then getting in and touching them is just unnecessary! and reckless.Dsn himself cautioned that these animals are unpredictable-why risk death like that?
@jeffmoore9487
@jeffmoore9487 5 жыл бұрын
@@gailalbers1430 Ditto! And now that they have their footage and an edgy experience - once is enough. I wouldn't want Lenny to rule their lives but neither should mortal danger be an immediate attraction. There's plenty of danger in their lives without dancing with big sharks. Dan seems to be planning a career around immediate danger. Ok, but such a choice should invite scrutiny from those who are close to him and introspection about how and if to support such a decision from those around him. It's ok to say: I can't support you

Sharks are associating boats with food and then you get in the water with them and they somehow know your the good guy who was feeding them and not a bigger free feed
@kellyr95
@kellyr95 5 жыл бұрын
@Hugh Jarman *Yep, which is why shark feeding should be illegal as it is already in places such as Florida. Sharks are animals and this is classical conditioning; boats, engine noise, people = food. And then you have unsuspecting boaters/swimmers that can be in for an unpleasant surprise.*

This is what happened in Las Vegas to Roy, of Sigfried & Roy fame. He was with lions most of his life training and raising them from birth. One night during their show at the Mirage Hotel, he was mauled almost to death. His injuries were so bad he never fully recovered.

New comer to channel here, cant get enough of it. This episode was awesome, spent many years in the Torres Strait and Gulf of Carp FNQ pro fishing. Tiges are no doubt shifty and come across seemingly docile but as you experienced they will take advantage of an easy bite. Not gonna get on here an tell ya to be careful or not to do it again coz I've done it myself, stay safe. You guys are inspirational to say the least

Riley, I have mixed feelings about interacting with Tiger sharks in the Bahamas where so many cruisers come for family vacations centered on water activities. Isn't there a danger of making these sharks less inhibited and more attracted to boats and humans in the water increasing the chances of dangerous, even deadly encounters? You're an experienced free driver who knew they were there and you almost became a snack. Interested to hear your thoughts on my concern. Thanks!
