I heard that in this 40th-anniversary edition, Steven Spielberg did shoot some scenes in which some of them used digital technology that was not available at its time and was included here. Is this true?

No but there are three cuts of the film and all of them have been remastered for better picture and sound

No! This makes it look like some generic action-adventure film. CE is a much deeper and more thought-provoking film. This is too fast and bland and empty. It misses what CE really is.

Can someone tell me why are movies being made in Bluray 4K Ultra HD? Isn't regular Bluray just good enough?

Froy 2001 "regular" BD is 1080p or 2k, UHD or 4k BD is 3160p or 4k. 4k is 4 x 1080p resolution. 8k is 4 x 4k resolution or an amazing 16x the resolution of 2k.

They movie is so heavy grain its ruin, don't waste u money on this, the movie is so bad because of this, i don't even want to see it, so bad is it, got the 30th Anniversary on blu ray and it is NOT so heavy grain, another destroyd old movie in 4K.

Grain is detail, 1080p blu ray with oversaturated colours and grain wiped off and wax looking people isn't the correct representation, This movie was filmed with kodak film so it will have natural film grain, If grain isn't for you then stick to Marvel filmed on digital
