What I like in this movie is that the main character, played by Scott Adkins, isn't such a "white knight". This is such a refreshing thing, to see that an actual main protagonist uses the hidden blade and the opponent some belt, unlike it is in all other movies, where it is vice versa. Doesn't look like some prince from Shrek, could be an antagonist in this movie in terms of looks as well, calls opponent a "little bitch" when threatening him before fight, uses headbutts, doesn't give a funeral oration before killing an opponent, uses more than one knife thrust (way more realistic), attacks groin. All this in a single movie. I think it is really cool that those fight scenes aren't like "standard ones" in many productions.

I hate that Adkins is in such low budget films while he is seriously a high budget actor. he should stop taking low budget deals, it absolutely demolishes his reputation

It's very difficult to find high budget action movies because producers are not working on them anymore. Scott is a huge talent but he was born in a time where action movies are not fashion. He has to work in whatever he can and his effort gives us good movies we used to see from Van Damme in the 90's. If people were opened to watch this type of movies maybe things could change.
