i’ve been playing piano for 12 years now and i’m only 16, at level 9 of Theory Piano Education and this piece is one of my favorites! Not many people can play this, and it sounds very beautiful if you add all the little details that make this piece a work of art! took about a week to learn, even through all the hundreds of pieces that i’ve played, this was actually still difficult for me to master every detail, every day I spent 2 hours on this piece so in 6-7 days I got everything working perfectly.

i've always loved the piano. when i go to places and hear that beautiful melody, it makes me so happy that i'd really stop and watch in awe. i also want to play just like them and enjoy hearing my music. so my mom enrolled me into music class and i've been in that for almost a year now. my school teaches me classical stuff that i'm not really interested in, but i play it anyways. i want to tell my mom about giving it up because i don't really see myself as a professional pianist in the future. i just want to play for my kids when i grow up, play the piano in family gatherings...something like that. im afraid to tell my mom because she invested a lot in it (considering that it's a year and one month) and *i* also invested a lot in it. my time, my energy, and those sunday mornings waking up early and walking down the street to get to my music school. should i give up my music classes? please help me, anyone. it's a secret i haven't told anyone because im afraid that they might judge me for giving up something again because i also did the same thing in the past when i did voice lessons. im afraid that i might get scolded for *wasting* their money. please help me. sincerely, reese.

Even playing for your kids or friends, you'll find more satisfaction with a good fundamental classical training. Perhaps you are having a bad teacher or very demanding music class. Don't take music lessons as a competition vs other students. I heard terrible things about teaching methods in certain part of the world. Maybe you just need one or two lessons a month by a private teacher, for more relaxing playing style, pop music or jazz. Tell your parents eventually, if you think they will understand you and support you (as parents supposed to do). Good luck!

Its called a arpeggio. To play it with your right hand you use fingers one to and three.

Biggles the Desert Hippo this one is in Ab. You're right, I learned in this key many years ago and I think it sounds good on the piano, .. .. when I sing it I play it on another key

Anonymous - sorry I can’t answer to your question. We all have different learning curve, some people will never be able to play the first bar, whilst for some others would be able to play the entire song easily. The best way is taking music lessons with a real teacher, whom can check your hands position, your posture to avoid bad habits at the beginning.

Hi, I believe you are asking me if it's affordable for a beginner? Check the first page on my website. I always give the first page as sample, so you can check the writing quality, and the difficulties. I don't know what a beginner can play.. For me isn't hard to play, but some people can play only in the key of C,.. So,.. this song isn't in C: has 4 flat on key. Thank you

+Fernando Reis how many years? It depend.. Everyone has different talents, qualities and ways to reach their goal. It depend to you, when you'll be satisfied of your performances.. Usually we'll never be satisfied, trying to improve always... Music is a continuous improvement and studies,.. It grow with your age and maturity

+Fernando Reis I studied classical piano from the age of 6 until 16, then Jazz school for 3 yrs, but as I said, you will never stop to study and learn. A real classical concertist practice more than 8 hrs at day, to keep in shape and learn more, despite the many yrs of music school.
