So many people miss the point of this song. Yes, it's a song about sex, but it is more about escaping depression, self-hatred, and dread through sex.

I can't explain. Exactly why I relate to this... But I know it has something to do with my hypersexuality. ( A trauma response/ Making everything sexual ALL the time even if it isn't supposed to be that way) As someone in a relationship I feel guilty A lot for feeling this way, I felt like a pervert. I even talked to my partner about it and they told me I wasn't a pervert and I shouldn't feel guilty. But it just- gets to you when you think about IT all the time. It's overwhelming.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't see this as a "sexy" song. If you listen to it in the context of the Downward Spiral album, it's about a man who is losing his mind, but is somewhat brought back to his senses by a sexual encounter. By the end of the album, he loses his mind anyways and ends up killing himself (The closing track, "Hurt", being his suicide note). So while this song is romantic in a very warped way, "sexy" is hardly how I'd describe it.

This song is about a man who so lost in his personal mental pain that loveless sex, and drugs if the rest of the album is any indication, are his only true form of escape. As someone who's addicted to prostitutes, it's a very dark but relatable song. "You are the reason I stay alive" He's basically saying the only reason he doesn't off himself is because of his addiction to coochie keeps him going. Top tune.
