seeing Ava try on the pants and saying that they used to be big when she first got them and there not anymore and her accepting that its fine and moving on makes me so happy because weight and body image is something I've struggled with since jr. high seeing her like this makes me so happy and I'm so happy to have a body positive role model makes me jump with joy!!

im currently changing my wardrobe and buying new clothes and i fit in actually 3 different (of denim pants) sizes which is really confusing, so remember that sizes aren’t always the same, they don’t define you💕

sameee I’ve gained like 10 pounds the past year which took me by major surprise considering I’ve maintained the same weight most of my young adult life. Really don’t know if it’s the pandemic or If I’ve gotten lazier with working out/eating healthy 🤔

Try focusing on the "feeling good and strong" momentum! Because a number on the scale doesn't really say a lot. It is much more important to feel strong (from working out for example) and feel fit (for example that you could go on a run without giving in after 1 min haha). Thats always what I look at, not the weight I lose or not. Btw, I got that mindset from Natacha Oceane - KZfaqr and she has the besssst aproach to fitness and feeling good in her body.

quarantine has been really rough for me. I've been gaining more weight after I stopped focusing on my diet and fitness, and it's affected my mental health greatly. ava, you've been so helpful in my journey to self acceptance and a healthy outlook on fitness and food. thank you for being the role model I've needed

Ava! I love the way you talk about your body in relation to clothing. I'm 90lbs currently and gained 7 lbs over the past six months and even though I know I want to gain weight and am happy to have gained it, I've noticed I'm not the kindest to myself when clothing doesn't fit me anymore which makes absolutely no sense. Thank you for being such a good role model, you're helping me accept this change :)

5:35 yeah i had the same "same model same size" problem and the girl at the store when i came back told me it's because of the dye (the darker/lighter the jeans are, the tighter they will be)... basically only normal wash jeans are true to size!

This video actually helped me a little. My weight changed recently and some of my clothes don't fit anymore and I was crushed. Seeing you accept not fitting into older clothes felt like I wasn't a failure for not fitting into mine. Weight is something so triggering for many girls so seeing you treat it as something normal that changes was very refreshing.

ava girl! can you do a video on tips for microinfluencers/smaller youtubers who want to grow!? i looove creating videos but i’m hitting a standstill. i’m ultimately grateful to be editing videos that i am proud of, but it would also be so fulfilling to see growth, so you should totally do a video! or even a tik tok of tips and tricks! (or honestly even a video of just believing in yourself and chasing your dreams and how to stay confident in that regardless of numbers!) loved this video hehe! 💛

I agree with Ava that's it's important to give your body grace when it comes to weight fluctuations, but sometimes with bottoms, it's also important to look at material information. For example, black jeans usually need to be bought in a larger size than blue because of their processing
