October 24 2023, 11:56 am - some closeups of one of the adult eagles who has been visiting our Boundary Bay Central bald eagle cam nest. A pair of eagles raised a chick here last year, but we didn't have cameras on the nest then, so don't know if this was one of last year's pair or a new adult. There has been another adult spending a lot of time perched on top of the nest and watching the territory, and I suspect that is one of the pair from last year - but we don't know yet if this is the mate, or someone looking for a nest.
