Leonard Nimoy was/is one of the few celebrities I admire and not because of Star Trek, but for his life’s work and story. Watching these fascinating videos only confirms how deserving he was for my admiration.

I miss Leonard Nimoy.

I couldn't have never imagine, for only one minute, how handsome, well spokened and emotionnal he was in every true human way. I simply wanted to say that this man as really blessed me throughout this whole entire video. It's as though as if i felt a new Leonard Nimoy coming. In spite of his passing, i would simply like to express my sincere condolences to all the family members of Mister Nimoy as well as to the Yiddish Community of North America. RIP MR. SPOCK ! i did a black & white video of Mr.Nimoy after the first Star Trek series when he was traveling and doing some Shakespeare ....... it was in Indiana before 1970 ...... a very kind soul who i have not forgotten

I have a photograph, personally autographed by this lovely man, which I have treasured since I was a 13 year old Trekkie. All the cast were amazing, and he was always my favorite, for some reason someone I really understood and appreciated even at that age. He was a wonderful photographer, and wrote the most beautiful poetry... what a great Renaissance man he was, he knew so much of people and the world...Thank you for this peek into his life.

It's so sad that Leonard Nimoy died when he did as the more I read bout him I had not realised how talented he was, I would've loved to have met him along with DeForest Kelley.

I miss this man. The more I learn about him, the more I wish I could have met him. Oh, I'm your usual moderate Trek nerd, but this man is so much more than Spock.

I have a very similar story in regards to my father going back to a small village my ppl come from called Maalula, in Syria. We were the Jews that believed Jesus was the Messiah and had to leave Israel. We ran to the mountains of Syria and lived very far away from civilization. We became what is now known as Eastern Orthodox. Like Mr. Nimoy's family, we fled to America around 1896 and became Americans! My family has fought in WW I & II, Korea , Vietnam etc and my father is buried in Arlington. That was a very deep interview and touched my heart! I'm glad he was able to do that.

What a wonderful story, a glimpse into such a unique man. I wanted to hug him in consolation of his grief when he bit his lip as he related the passing of his Father and then his Mother. Leonard Nimoy on whatever plain your soul exists, you should know and be proud that you had such a positive affect on so many lives on this earth. Blessings to all of your surviving family, dear man. Thank you for sharing this piece on a person I truly admire.

Regardless of his iconic success Leonard Nimoy is a wonderful man who's wisdom and compassion eclipsed any aspect of his most famous role. In sum a lovely lovely man. God bless his eternal life.

The more I learn about Mr. Nimoy the more respect, admiration, and love I have for him. I would give almost anything to be able to sit and listen to him tell me these stories and to be able to engage him him conversation. He was such an intelligent, funny, interesting, thoughtful, and engaging person. What a gift to the world he was.

These are very strong messages that he conveys, such as the one in which he mentions the inspiration for the Vulcan salute. This idea of "closing cycles" in relation to our ancestry is also inspiring. It doesn't matter what they are. All peoples need to learn to respect each other and live together respectfully. DearHusband&i are big fans of the old “Perry Mason” show. It comes on the MeTV cable channel twice a day. We watched it last night. To my delight, a very very young Leonard Nimoy played the part of some girl’s boyfriend. It was a delight to see him act in this role.

I can feel Mr Nimoy's grief when he is reflecting on his mother and father passing.

Wow, I was not ready for that gut punch about his mom and dad, which obviously still has some emotional power for him. Leonard Nimoy was a great person and I could listen to him talk all day. It pained me to hear him occasionally struggling to breath in this, but he said in another interview that he knew that one day his COPD (which he accepted full responsibility for) would take him and he was correct. RIP, Mr. Nimoy!

Leonard Nimoy - I was shocked by his death. I met him several times in Chicago.

Oh God his eyes. You can tell his COPD is already terminal here. I miss him too. When he passed it felt like a favorite Uncle passed. 15 years too soon.

That was so AWESOME!!!! that you got to trace your lineage. and in such a special way by going to the places where it all took place. and be able too meet living relatives, and go to the final resting places of other relatives, that are further back in the lineage. even though traveling though Russia could possibly be a little tense at times. and to get to bring some of that is lineage back to your parents before they passed away. you are an honorable man Mr Nimoy and you are greatly missed.
