The owner behind this bootleg VHS was like: "Well, the movie is over. What can i do?" "I have an idea when we get home, you can filmed your wall to space up your bootleg tape" "That's an excellent idea" And Fisher Rachel Would be like "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!!!"

I think that weird looking screen was from the man putting down the camera showing the floor of the theater realizing that he forgot to turn off the camera.

Here's my opinion, when the credits were rolling. He or She dropped the camera by accident, and it got stuck on a frame of the theater floor. But hey, Thats my opinion!

I got the real 1997 VHS of "Hercules" at Goodwill last week and thankfully I got it in my collection now, and mine is not a bootleg, it's a legit copy with no audience applause in the background. It has the full end credits complete with the cut short 1990 WDP logo and then goes to a black screen for about a minute where it goes into snowy picture.

@@therealvhsandcdbrony2000 Yep! It's possibly one of the strangest bootleg VHS closings ever. If you see The TRB Archives' opening video to Freddy Got Fingered TS copy, the beginning actually has the bootlegger pointing the top of the cinema room.

The case for the bootleg VHS of Hercules looks kind of funny. The front is just the theatrical poster with the poster also appearing on the bottom of the spine. The wording of Hercules on the spine looks very basic in design. Also on the spine, the Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection logo is the only part of the tape that checks out. Hercules was really released as part of the Masterpiece Collection when it came out onto VHS and laser disc on February 3, 1998. The back looks weird. Disney Adventures? Help our hero!? What's up with that. The tape also has a PG rating on it despite the actual movie being rated G.

Well, I now know that Disney Adventures was formally a children's magazine released from 1990 to 2007. With that, I can now assume that photo of Hercules and a large portion of the cast with the words "Help our her!" on the back of the case was taken from one of the 1997 issues of the magazine.

How would someone have made a theater recorded bootleg back in the day? Could they make multiple copies, or was it just the one tape like with a home movie tape?

I Think It Was One Person Recording The Movie In The Theater, With An Actual Camcorder, And Then Someone, Weather It Was The Same Person Or Someone Else, Would Then Make Multiple Copies Of The Same Tape. I Have Seen Multiple Duplicate Copies Of Certain Bootlegs, All With Similar Artwork, So I Think It Might Be One Person Making Multiple Copies, And Then Someone Else Sells Those Copies (Illegally) To The Public.
