I really applaud the restoration! It was done without rotoscoping and recompositing, but rather done with digital color correction and careful film grain reduction.

I can’t wait for the new restoration that Disney doing right now in 4K since they did amazing job fixing DNR issue with Cinderella. Update: they’re using Original Negative as the source it looks so good I can’t wait for October 10, 2023.

Yes and it was immediately hailed as a masterpiece in 1937. And it began a tradition and has continued ever since, with films like “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin”. In 1995 “The Lion King” joined the collection of animated classics available on home video

''The Lion King'' was NOT part of the Walt Disney Classics line, the last release in the Walt Disney Classics line was ''The Fox and the Hound'' from 1994.

My copy has the same thing here. But on the "Platinum Edition" DVD from 2001, it showed the same ending as shown and then the silent 1990 WDP logo after that. No special ending credits there. And finally on the 2009 "Diamond Edition" Blu-Ray/DVD, the original ending title was restored including the RKO logo shown and the text reads "A Walt Disney Feature Production - In Technicolor" was blocking the logo, and after that, the cut short 2006 WDP logo. I used to have the 2001 "Platinum Edition" DVD, so I have to give it away soon, because I already have the VHS and the digital download of this film as well.

You probably shouldn't give it away. Not all of the bonus features have been carried over to the Blu-Ray.

Thankfully, the 2009 "Diamond Edition" Blu-Ray and the 2016 "Signature" Blu-Ray and digital copy of this film restored the original end title that has "A Walt Disney Feature Production" with the RKO logo plastered over the text with "In Technicolor" at the bottom. After that, it goes to the 2006 WDP logo or the 2010 Disney logo.

That was such a nice finale of snow white and I must not hear "Someday my prince will come finale" song because I cry of joy in tears by seeing a beautiful prince's castle also I grew up with this Disney movie when I was young. 🏰 🤴

Everybody wanted a copy of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on VHS, when the studio finally released it to video cassette in 1994. I watched the movie so many times, when I was a kid.

I was young, ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'' is the first Walt Disney animated film ever made, along with ''Pinocchio'', ''Fantasia'', ''Dumbo'', ''Bambi'', ''Cinderella'', ''Alice in Wonderland'', ''Peter Pan'' and ''Lady and the Tramp''.

Dolby and THX occurred back in 1981 and 1983. So it was only a matter of years until Dolby Stereo came out. Surround Sound probably did not come until say the late 90s early 2000s. And then in 2011 we have Dolby Atmos. So yeah, it started with Dolby Stereo and go from there. CRT TVs only had stereo sound, and older 1950s 1960s models only had mono output, so there's that.

ok so when i was little i remember that i used to watch this movie a lot but i remember a little part at the end that it was about the evil queen forced to dance in a kind of magic shoes.....anyways so today i was watching a video in youtube about the dark stories behind disney movies and it said that in the book version the evil queen was forced to dance in sort of iron shoes till she dies and in that moment i remembered about that scene and i have been looking for it cause i can barely remember it so can you guys plz tell me if i am crazy or what

Cristy Rodas The movie is from 1937, the same year the Golden Gate Bridge opened in San Francisco, and a year after the Triborough Bridge opened in New York City where it connects Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx to Randalls Island, now known as the RFK Bridge, and that’s your history lesson for ya!

Roberto Scalia It’s just the standard “The End” screen with “A Walt Disney Production” on there where it plastered over the original RKO end title with “A Walt Disney Feature Production - In Technicolor” where it covered the RKO logo.
