Imo yes, this one should be the Omni Aerith from the lifestream or an Aerith who has seen all the possible timelines and futures, pretty much like this Sephiroth which has to be the same from the edge of creation from ff7 remake. Some ppl says that in the Nojima novel (On the way to a smile) lifestream Aerith is better explained but I haven't read it yet.

@@Dontdoit_ we will see...I suspect she will have a lot more screen time than she should in part 3, via flashbacks, as jenova, as Lifestream Aerith, as another Aerith from a different timeline...if this is what they want to do then I'd like to know more about Lifestream Aerith.

yeah, this is what I have read from the scene: He was surprised to be slapped by Cloud and Aerith, that's why he run away like a chicken. There is no other possible explanation, he was also hunting all Aeriths in all timelines or at least he was after lifestream Aeirth (she has just ruined his plan), then why leaving the fight? afraid

@@ggletv well maybe it's more than a theory cuz he killed the one in the forgotten capital, he killed the one in the church post Temple and during the date in Sector 5 she can hear Sephy ''Ah, so that's where you were hiding, in a world that has accepted his faith'' or something like this...it makes sense right ?🤔🤣

the dissonance between story and gameplay is huge here, while in the cutscenes a character can be killed by everything😅
