Hi your ceiling looks amazing great job!!! So for the Christmas lights did you just get a strand of one color like warm white or blue and then the rest of the lights are the music syncing led strands?

Thanks for snowing the way you did your lights! Everyone does it more or less the same, but I see you've got things more evenly distributed with the spectral opposites! 👍 it looks really damn good like that! Its got certain natural attributes about it that way. 👍

Would the cloud material stick to the hook or loop side of velcro! If it does the sticking to ceiling job becomes so much easier.

I have this in a very low traffic area so it hasn’t required any maintenance so far. No bugs, no visible dust, no issues. I’ve had it up for about 1.5 years. I dust the game room every couple of weeks. The Polyfill can be pulled down and replaced if it ever gets nasty 👍

I didn’t bother…I stapled them up and if I ever remove it, you can use spackle to fill in the holes from the staples (if there are any noticeable holes)

question:is the straple better than glue? mine keeps falling with spray adhesive!

Yes the staples hold really well. If it ever starts to sag, then you can add a few staples. Much harder to add glue

How big is that ceiling. I want to make this for my daughter but I’m not sure if I need as many lights. I was gonna go with 2 50ft led strips and maybe 3 with the white lights. For a 10x10ft space

My room is 10 x 12 feet but the cloud itself is 9 x 11 feet. I didn’t run it all the way the the walls. I think that’s a good amount 👍

Polyfill is nonflammable and LEDs do not emit heat so nothing to worry about 😊

The glue smells horrible and is very messy. It can take months to air out the smell and it’s also highly flammable

Yeah I’ve still not found a single insect. But for full disclosure, that room never had insect issues previously. I imagine if you do this in an area that already had a lot of bugs, it could be a potential issue.

ive had a setup before for two years,not even one insect but what i researched and did was make my room lavender scented as much as possible, spiders hates that scent, there are other scents that they dont like

had mine up for years. no bugs, but i do get a dust ring above my ceiling fan so avoid putting poly-fil around that

The Polyfill can be replaced if it becomes too dusty. I had my original cloud ceiling up for 1 year and it didn’t really have much dust at all. It’s also in a low traffic room which helps

If you keep a clean house, it’s nothing to worry about. Plus you can pull it down and replace it if it ever got too dusty for your liking 👍

It seems like a lot but this was a fairly large room (10 ft x 13 ft). The only reason I know the weight is because I had to purchase a 20 pound box and then another when I ran out lol

Thank you sir! I would venture to guess that if you had this setup in an area that previously had a lot of insects, that it might be a problem. Thankfully not the case with this setup. Appreciate the kind words!
