The game isn't that hard lol there's games that exist with much harder executions. This ia nothing compared to some fighting games out there. No nerfs needed.

Seeing this made me remember people complaining ff7 rebirth isn't a souls games ( dark souls, Bloodborne, eldening) and people saying git gud

I was wondering about prime mode and if there was a reason they weren't using it, regardless it was really good, waiting for a madman to do an Aeirht solo one. Seen someone get gilgamesh low haven't had time to give it a go

THIS. THIS comment right here is how I've been feeling watching the other runs of this. I'm also going to go for a WR of some kind but seeing people just spam with Yuffie and cheese their way to 1:41 isn't entertaining. This is how most of people will be, trying to brute force with a mix of simple knowledge of patterns and keeping the team topped off. Solo is another thing in of itself. This is awesome man

@@Alex-ur1io They're probably just too used to regular Punisher Mode, if it's not broke, don't fix it. Bro was perfect blocking almost nonstop.

It is insanely powerful with Plasma Discharge in large groups of enemies.

Sonic boom + berserk buff is OP enough and I also wasn't sure about a better damage buff with Prime mode.

I think all is max'ed in this video. But when i beat it first time, it was not.

They are still attacking quite often, the thing is he's able to deal with most of their attacks with his excellent timing.

When you are in punisher mode hold down the square button. It gives you fury which increases your damage given and taken. You get a stronger buff if you use this attack while using the ability that upgrades your punisher mode.

Solo can be challenging coz you are relying on a single character to do everything and their specialization may not be the right fit for the given battle. Most crazy fast world record time (somewhere around sub-1min to sub-3min) is mostly done with a full party with access to every character's specialization

You need genji gloves to break the 9999 damage cap. He's using genji gloves in this vid. That's how he can do 5-figure damage

@@Avtenom Yeah. You get sort of a "Level 2" berserk at the end of a heavy attack combo. You can see thee icon is different.

@@Avtenom While I'm not sure, I've read somewhere it's about 10% more damage. (30% vs 40%)

​@@AvtenomThere is a significant difference between normal berserk and prime mode berserk. I did a test and compared damage number between no berserk, normal berserk and prime mode berserk during Cloud's tutorial simulator battle. I used Braver to do the test. Here's the breakdown: Without berserk: 2.2k - 2.4k Normal berserk: 2.8k - 3k Prime Mode berserk: 3.3k - 3.6k After doing the math, Prime Mode berserk adds roughly around 50% extra damage over base damage number without berserk. That's way more than normal berserk's 30%. This is why I always stack prime mode with sonic boom whenever I get the chance for crazy damage number

Probably because you don't use Sonic Boom ability and Cloud's berserk buff (Hold square)

On the ground : Braver (triangle), Counterstance (circle), Infinity's End (x), Sonic Boom (square) While airborne : Braver (triangle), Counterstance (circle), Aerial Onslaught (x), Disorder (square).

@@Avtenom Oh that's interesting, how often were you using counterstance? Like how many times did you use it per enemy? I have disliked that ability but that is in part due to me preferring use my shortcuts for other stuff I guess and not taking the time to get good with it.

I think genji glove is very strong. Look at Sephiroth & Alexander. Magic up increases the damage of every attack cuz i equiped elemental on my sword.

@@Avtenom He used that spinning 2 ATB physical attack once per enemy give or take...it was dealing like 20/30k damage or whatever. Also, the Magic Up will increase the damage from long ranged attacks for Cloud although I don't think this guy used that attack particularly often. I didn't know extra magic would increase the elemental damage from the elemental materia. That's definitely something I didn't mess around with all that much...I remember it took me forever just to realize Euphie's Ninjutsu was based on her Magic stat. Also it increases the healing he's getting from the Sonic Boom hits(by increasing Sonic Boom damage), although I suppose that in itself is not a huge difference maker. Anyway I guess the title should say 'no spells' but I understand what he means.

Perfect punisher parry, you are immune from the start of the animation til the end. With Counterstance, you re only immune at the time of the parry.

He needs to use counterstance for certain things, because punisher cannot parry magic projectiles.

The real answer is practice and learn every boss.

Some unblockable moves which are binds or grabs can be perfectly blocked with precision defense focus materia.

Because i use elemental materia on my weapon.

You can parry with triangle only when entering in punisher mode.
