Funny thing is, I still have that same female clown but a new male...and they no longer show interest in my bta and moved into an elegance coral.

Mine won’t host my BTA. It’s been a week now. Any idea why?

I don't know but I can tell you how to Make them host it, I made mine host one like almost a week ago, how big is your tank? If it is a small tank then this should be easy, take you net or hand or both and guide your fish to the anemone, next just slowly you want to almost push your clownfish into the anemone(without touching the anemone) and keep your hand there for about a minute then if he isn't close enough scoot him closer but don't let him leave. do this twice a day. In the morning and at night for as long as it takes and it will host it. Mine hosted my green bubble tip anemone after me doing this for 2 days. You basically have to let the clownfish touch the anemone a few times so his instinct kicks in and he will host it. Remember, this is just from my experience

Put your phone up to the glass and play this video for them! I’ve heard of it working. I’m trying to get my clowns to host my btas and I show them this video once a day. Put your phone by your anemone and see if that helps.

First thing is, that just about all Clownfish are tank raised and have never been near an Anemone. Second thing is their Natural Host is a Carpet Anemones. I wouldn’t force them, it took my single adopted Clownfish, Five and a Half Months, before it hosted to one of the several BTA, in my tank. The second Clownfish, a little more than 24 hours. The only thing I might try and do is put Frozen Brine or Mystic Shrimp in the Anemone. My Clownfish, have a hard time resisting this treat.
