I just love looking at cookbooks! My husband just had his year check up after having surgery last June for cancer of appendix. Th month of June he had CT scan, laparoscopy, biopsies of enlarged lymph node in his groin, lots of labs, changes in medicine, another test for how fast food goes through his stomach. Everything has come back with no sign of cancer! Praise God.

Texas is being especially hit hard with bad weather, and I believe that this is not unique, that the same has happened in previous years. It is terrible to lose your home or life due to flooding from hurricanes, leaving you and your family stranded and devastated. I hate even thinking about it. 😮I just hope everybody gets the assistance they need and are able to resume as much a normal life as possible. I heard there was a fire in northern CA two days ago that swept through with many people having to evacuate and nothing to go back to.😢😢 By the way Cal, I liked the shot and sounds of Silver Creek that you incorporated into the beginning of this video. Very calming. Looking forward to the upcoming question & answer video(s).❤❤

God gave us those feelings and we sometimes feel sorrow for the very bad things. We do what we can to help, sometimes all that we can do is pray, hope & wait. Deb. 🙏

One more thing I forgot to add in regard to storing flour is to add bay leaves to the container. Just be sure to not get them in what you may be making. Use the large leaves. It doesn't flavor the flour at all. Helps discourage unwanted bugs wanting to get in your flour. Thanks for all your videos.

Good morning, everyone, I must have missed going to the hobby lobby with you, that is one of my favorite stores to just go to look, because I have to much just setting around that has to be dusted , every time l see all your can goods I can see a big pot of beef vegetable soup and a big pan of corn bread. There is nothing any better to eat and it will stay around for a long time, Calvin there’s a lot of people here where I live have sinus problems, with all the big trees and bushes,and people outside a lot, seems like it just won’t go away.Doctors are saying stay inside as much as possible. I am glad you are doing good, Marie seems to be doing better, I love it when I can see your smiles, makes me feel better. I will be watching for videos from you both. Good morning Calvin and Marie!! I hope you had a great holiday. I was off and just lounged around the house all day. No big plans, just rest! Love the books you received, especially the Campbell’s soup book. So many recipes have those in them! I confess, I use store brand soups 99% of the time because Campbell’s is so expensive now. I think you are correct with the food issues. Scary times are ahead I think but we will trust in the Lord to get us through those. I don’t watch news anymore, I find channels like yours and the homestead farming channels to watch and learn from. You got that right about inflation. It’s rough. My alternator went out on me and I had to pay $535 I almost fell out in the floor, if I hadn’t have redo my loan I don’t what I would have done my anxiety definetly went through the roof But God is still is good, all the time God is good ❤🙏✝️
