They were going to let the game stay up. It's just that the Codey guy(an ex-admin) felt he didn't have a voice in the updates and there issues between the moderators, so he kept threatning them to shut the server down over anything that it started happening almost every week. After the team decided to demote Codey, he started giving DDos and Swatting threats against the moderators, so the other admins decided to close the game before anything dangerous happens.

I feel like to make reporting more functional so that you can’t report innocent people and get them banned, it should take a screenshot of what’s happening and detect the player and what they said. It’s much easier to detect things in a game like club penguin with its graphics, and harder to detect them in real life

I used to be a moderator for a now discontinued CPPS, I moderated for it for close to 5 or so months. I remember Anthony actually sending me a private message on discord and asking me to leave the current CPPS that I moderated for to go and moderate for his server instead, Virtual penguin, stating that I was too good for the current CPPS I was moderating. Needless to say, I declined that offer.
