I actually felt everything Terrry spoke about when he talks about his journey in Hollywood. I grew up watching Training Day, Everybody Hates Chris and all his comedy movies. He is very humble and an excellent example for all.

Unc does better when it’s with someone he can respect, who has a different world view than him. Terry and Unc could not have different worldviews while still being from such similar backgrounds (football, into media. I got no clue what their young lives were like). This was a great interview.

Terry had a big part in The Sixth Day, an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie which came out in 2000, the year before Training Day was released. So I don't know why he's saying Training Day was his first big break in acting and he worked for free.
