It's not a bug and neither features. When a game is under development mode, all game testers/ developers gets a extra feature which is God mode so that they can test the game with every angle possible which is later removed when the game is launched to market

Also the way Conan addresses, in some he calls him staff, later he addresses him as friend, in one he even calls him chum which is his word as seen in Chill Chums. Bley is a senior producer in the podcast.

I watch this series for entertainment purposes and not to get a review of the games they play. And it is obviously not their intention to review these games. So it doesn´t bother me what they play. I just thought SWB 2 would have been funny because Jordan is such a BIG Star Wars fan. Maybe it is even better if the game is bad because than Conan can make more fun of it. ;) But SWB 2 is already released anyway so i doubt there will be an Clueless Gamer of it. :P

It's really not a great compromise. The games are taking up less than 1/10th of the episodes now. If they're going to do it like this, they should just stop wasting everyone's time and cut the segment entirely. They clearly want to.

This segment only works when at least one person knows what the hell is going on. It was way better when Aaron played the games with Conan. Bringing on these celebrities that know even less about video games than Conan is really frustrating to watch.

It’s sad that the only thing carrying clueless gamer when Aaron stopped showing up was just Conan’s wit, as opposed to the dynamic between Conan’s apathy to video games and Aaron’s genuine love of them, it made for such a hilarious time.

The show that featured Gronk and Beastmode (playing Mortal Kombat 9) right before the Superbowl was really entertaining. It's a bit hit and miss from the guests.

Aaron did say in a reddit AMA that when Conan gets good at playing video games, they'll stop the Clueless Gamer segments. He also said that it's not easy to find a game for Conan to play and make the entire segment funny. They'll play one game for hours on end and only a few minutes are useable.

Aaron was funny. He had a subtle way to convey humor and ride Conan's jokes. Not a lot of guests are able to do that and he being a regular person (what I mean is not an actor), he was good. That last bit with the hand holding, I don't know if it was improv, but that was good

By that logic, my first Assassin's Creed for PS3 was also in God Mode. Can't tell you how many times I looked down and was riding half a horse that occasionally got stuck in an invisible wall. Ghost Recon is still their best product.

I actually liked it when they talked about the injury. It showed a contrast between sports, and games that can appeal to more people and make the episode more fun to watch for more people. Also I was cracking up when he accessed "God mode". Besides it spices up the show making it not just the same episode over and over again.

They focus too much on the celeb most of the time and don't play the actual game, which is the purpose of "clueless GAMER". There are only a few examples where clueless gamer with celebs was actually fun to watch like Will arnett for example. But this should be mainly about the GAME and not about the celebs. If I wanted to see the Celebs I would watch a random interview with that celeb. Conan has plenty of those. They should focuse on the gaming part.

I don't think so. The idea behind Clueless Gamer is to show how fun it is to play the game. It doesn't matter as much how the game is shown, as long as the people playing the game are having fun (which is something we can see in this video). That's how you market to more of a general audience that is "clueless" about games. Sure, we get hardcore gamers picking the game apart, but those people have already decided whether or not to buy the game. Seeing the game on Conan isn't going to change their minds; there are other avenues of the marketing that cater to gamers.
