The thing I like about him is that he is one of the last "old school" defenders, like it's either you or the ball but it's a very rare thing to get past him without him having at least the or you, sometimes even both.

Football is a physical game and he is a defender. One of the techniques in defending is to INTIMIDATE the striker, because strikers can be aggressively forceful too. Ramos is good at doing that... Notice that despite being the BAD BOY... He is CAPTAIN of the team. That tells you who the man is... leadership and skill wise.

Football can be as dirty as you want to make it. Some players are finesse. Some are dirty. Some are both. Typically if a fight breaks out everyone jumps in.
