In this video, I was finally able to fix my clutch issue. I'm so excited. She is driving amazing. I think I'm in love again. All it took was adjusting the Tick Master Cylinder. I hate I waited so long.

Seeing you that happy made me that happy. I love it when a plan comes together. Your dedication is admirable, the way you stuck with it and kept at it even though you couldn't shift correctly inspires me to stay the course, and keep cool. I punched partway through 2 windshields, and spidered another from the inside when I was younger. I felt horrible afterwards because I loved those cars. Not going into gear would have split my wig if it was happening to me. You are a true role model, as you taught me a lesson. Now you can enjoy the car the way it should be.

I know the exact thing you’re dealing with bro lol hopefully i get to live the same reality here soon. Congrats!

Tmod sells a clutch stop Helps a lot with bringing the clutch up to level with the break pedal and helps you not over extend your pressure plate Will also help you out with the switch on the firewall

Lol i know the feeling buddy, letting loose and being free and grinning 😀.. I installed monster clutch,transmission, diff and rear main seal plate on mine..n boy when i was finnaly able to drive it my sadness turned into joy and aliveness ✨️✨️✨️, fortunately for me my old master cylinder works great..but i will definitely replace it w a tik adjustable clutch..heard great things about em,also skip that clutch switch they go bad fast..u need a switch or button one w two long cords to hook em up to where the switch box connects..my button start works flawlessly..or just use the old box switch n run long cables to the connector n just press it when u start..the only time u use that box is to start it, anything in between is just a waste of that switch being pressed all the time

Wow can’t believe they left that loose. Thank god you got this figured out. What a mess they left you with. Don’t let this shit get you down. It happens man. Keep going. Why should we shut off car in gear?

Me either man. Glad I finally figured it out as well. I shouldn't have waited so long to look at it. I paid a lot of money for these small details to be missing. They helped out by putting freon in the car but it was in the shop twice 2 weeks after getting it back and now I've found 2 mistakes. Does your car rattle if you shut the car off when the clutch isn't pressed in?

Just curious, now obviously you got the z06, I’m 17 and more interested in the frc just because of pricing, I know the frcs exclusively the t56 m6 while you got the m12, obviously decent but less power, but what are your opinions of it for a fun daily. And don’t worry, never been in any wreck due to having fun or not paying attention, but as just a practical daily most paved county roads what do you think?
@CadillacJones
@CadillacJones 2 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if you're asking about the trans specifically or just overall. The c5 is a lot of fun. Easy to toss around and amazing around curves. The power is nice too. Even the feeling of being in a Corvette, even though it's a c5, is cool. So yes it's fun. And surprisingly, I do think it's practical in most senses. I'm big into financial wellness. With the being said, if you get one, make sure it's in good condition and spend the money upfront. Miles aren't as important but get it with close to no issues. Coming into adulthood, it's important that you are financially responsible now so you can relax later. Gas prices are getting crazy and these cars perform best with high octane fuel. So if it's a daily, your fuel cost will be high. Big repairs in these cars can get expensive. You can save money doing it yourself but even the parts can be ridiculous at times. You're in the country so you should be fine but remember the car is low. So speed bumps and pot holes can be problematic. Hope it's not too much. Let me know if you get one.

Here's another about how much I spent in gas in one month. I did a lot of driving this month which was atypical but this car is so fun that it'll make you want to drive it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hKlkoKR-1KjSaIk.html

@@CadillacJones thank you, I appreciate the information, I will say, a neighbor of mine is actually the leader of the Kansas corvette club and a c5 z06 owner as well. Hopefully he could help me out. I daily a little Ford ranger 3.0. I’m getting 19 mpgs so fuel economy ain’t much an issue. I’m not to worried about mileage or a ton the engine, I plan on one of 2 things, a 383 stroker or a ls3 short block. I’m very responsible with my money and ain’t buying games or clothes or anything often at all. Thanks for the tips, hopefully I’ll be an owner before the end of 2022.

@@ryanrake2714 that's cool. The gas mileage may be about the same but the cost will be different. If you do either of those options, you're going to have A LOT of fun..... Let me know if you grab one. Actually, let me know when you grab one. Make it happen.
