Hello guys! Maintenance. The most valuable word on this channel! Maintenance has several directions, from lubrication, cleaning, care in use, timely replacement of fluids and liquids.
In this case, the pedals should be lubricated for an average of ten years, although it took twenty years to create a noise! Do not attempt to lubricate without disassembling as it will not last or will not work at all.
Regarding clutch pump fluid, its maintenance consists of changing the fluid within a maximum period of 2 years or 40 thousand Kms! To increase the service life of your components, a different type of maintenance is also considered, using exceptional quality parts.

hello. nice video. i have this same sound on my 159 JTDm but all the time while driving not only when pressing and relasing clutch. what can be problem ? Mostly its noticable on bumpy roads

Hello. Normally it's the plastic clips on the return spring. Very annoying and hard to replace. So make sure where does the sound comes from

Congratulations for your videos. I am a big fan of your channel. Watching this video, I have to tell you about my problem with a 159 jdt that I am fixing. He decidido arreglar el problema que tiene el pedal de embrague porque se le rompen las sujecciones del muelle de retorno. Gran problema, para que hagas un video, porque el 99% de los coches comparten ese problema. When I put the pedal back on, I can't even squeeze the clutch master cylinder rod in. It has broken? Should I purge the system until it comes in? Change the master cylinder? Saludos desde España.

Is there any clutch slave or tube in paddle as aell? Fiat idea 1.4 active, i bleed the slave which is next to engine and master slave have oil enough, paddle is spryed well still my paddle stocks in the floor some time. What can be the problem my friend? I guess may be same like this video spring broblem or small baring and things need to clean or change

Hi Bruno, I have a heavy clutch but I think it is the release arm bush. It's is so heavy sometimes it's impossible to use on 156 1.9JTD. I can only find bush for GTA. Do you know if it is the same part?

@@alfaromeonoproblem Thanks a lot! I think I also should change master and slave cluth cylinders because when I fully press the pedal the gearbox makes a bit of noise, and it's very hard to put the reverse

Please help my I have a big problem on mine 159. I started to remove the clutch pedal on my own because no one wanted to do that job. Mine problem was two brocken plastic holders of the big returning spring that return the pedal, there was clicking sound from the spring. So i bought two new , remove by myself return back everything, try it jently and it work. No more clicking sound. But at the end and when I sit to drive and press the pedal to the right end it stay down. Then i pull the pedal menually back up and i can press again. I thought that maybe I put the spring in wrong direction so I remove everything again but its imposible to put it in the other direction. So I install her again but the problem stayed. Now is really difficult to drive and dangerous. What did I do wrong, no one can tell me. Please help me

@@marioQ4 meni je radilo sve normalno samo je krckalo, nema veze ovo sa kvacilom direktno nit druk lagerom. Ovo je glupi problem kod same pedale. Mozda postoji mogucnost da se sjebao cilindar kvacila, ali onda bi se drugacije ponasao a ne ovako radi radi sve ok i samo odjednom kao da preskoci cela opruga i padne dole cela pedala sve dok je ne vratim gore i onda moze opet

Hello. I've seen the video. You can notice that the pedal is made from two parts, it is not fitted all the way, once you have the pedal on the upper position you should slide all the way the top part

Não podes misturar marcas... E o Luk é o pior que podes por. De longe o pior. Luk s só nos carros que o trazem de fábrica. BMW, alguns vw, etc. Tem de ser aisin ou exedy, todo o material

@@alfaromeonoproblem 1a vez, ótimo vídeo; Eu tenho 1 Monterey 3.1td 1995, de 2 que tenho,que há 8 anos levou embraiagem nova, pois numa redução muito violenta(NUNCA faça isso) empenou os 3 tirantezitos que,dentro da embraiagem,seguram o prato todo; claro que esses 3 têm de ser flexíveis,mas eu abusei e pimba...new clutch needed; e meti a mais barata que encontrei, menos de metade do preço de algumas outras!!! e porquê? é que comparando com a de origem((Exedy,or something?::) fui vendo, na casa das peças do meu amigo, que TODAS (Sachs,Aisin,Valeo etc...) eram feitas no MESMO local e pelas mesmas PRENSAS; (já fui,among other things, machinist em NY e NJ states , 20 years, e sei ver as marcas das prensagens no aço,dimensões etc); concluí que só há UMA casa no mundo que as faz,ou fez, clutches para o Monterey; é que são ferramentas caríssimas,não compensa para as pequenas séries dos aftermarket, e eles apenas compram do original e mandam colocar o nome deles, e o PREÇO deles,consoante o nome é SONANTE ou n ão lol e para as outras marcas de carros.. vale a pena examinar bem, para quem souber No meu caso,a clutch tem sido MUITO boa mesmo; muito,mas muito macia (mole,suave no pé esquerdo) todavia faz monte e faz serras ótimo,redutoras, e reboca barcos desde o Porto ao Algarve por vezes,queima pneu se for preciso,resumindo,perfeita, e por menos de metade do preço de algumas...

Muito obrigado por partilhar a sua experiência. Infelizmente aqui para a Europa as coisas são um pouco diferentes. Temos mesmo de usar as marcas que vêm de fábrica. Seja Luk, Valeo, Sachs, aisin ou exedy. Aqui são todos diferentes. E em vinte anos já vi muitos problemas por por marcas que não são as indicadas.

Ola. eu tenho um problema no meu Fiat Punto Evo 2010 1,4 Multiair com embraiagem nova trocada a cerca de 2 meses e meio o problema é que quando eu piso na embraiagem para mudar as marchas faz um barulho e vibra quando que eu tiro o pé o barulho vai embora o que pode ser ??

I have noticed on my 159, when I sit in a car and press the clutch pedal (while engine is still off) it is a bit hard. But then I release it and press it again (engine still off), it is soft and remains soft. Is that normal, or?

Replace the clutch cylinders oil, the vibration of the clutch running is helping the fluid move. It should be the same

@@alfaromeonoproblem Ah, OK. I will have the brake fluid replaced, becasue when I was doing the rear brakes a fee days ago, I've noticed that the brake reservoir cap is cracked. Maybe I have cracked it, because I started to wind back the caliper piston, and I forgot to take the cap off. But when I took it off, on the inside of the cap there was a lot of moisture (water dropplets), so it was pribably cracked from before.

@@alfaromeonoproblem BTW, it took *a lot* of brake presses to get the pedal to be firm again, after doing the rear brake discs and pads. I mean, mostly while driving. Manual says "pump the pedal at least 10 times". Yeah, more like at least 50 times.
