I don't know why but the rear ends are my worst fear... lmao I'm a new driver, got my car not too long ago... I always slow down as slowly as possible so that the person behind me notices it and has time to react, but it's not like it's possible for me to do it every time. Maybe I'm a little too skeptical? idk... driving around is just a wild card, no matter what you do you'll never be prepared enough for everything.

In regards to red lights, I always wait a few seconds before going when it turns green because it never fails that some jag off is going to run the red light no matter what. Better to be safe than sorry.

I am Dutch, but my wife is Greek. The first time I drove trough Athens, a guy behind me honked every time, the light was "green" for barely a second. The 3th time I got out, I was beside myself. In my country, you're looking for a fight honking like that. Back in the car, my wife caly explained that honking like that is usual in Greece, it's not personal. I felt like a Dick. Now I adjusted very well. I park like they do, I turn where they do, I expect the unexpected at all times. I mostly kind off enjoy it now, it's like a free circus, Greek traffic. 6:50 When the light turns green you have to look to make sure the intersection is clear before proceeding. Even though that truck turning is likely running a red, the cam car shouldn't have accelerated because the truck was clearly entering the intersection as the other car was leaving it. Just little shit people should pay attention to to avoid an accident. It's a traffic light not the Christmas tree at the drag strip.

It honestly amazes me how dumb people act while driving and their lack of situational awareness. I a very paranoid driver because I simply do not trust the people around me. I do not sit in the intersection on a blinking light, I hardly drive in the winter after it snows. People also need to learn to slow tf down. You don’t need to race lights, you don’t have anywhere that important to be.
