Marshmallow in the form of CM13 is now official for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 gt-n5110. This is not fit the gt-n5120 or the gt-n5100. Dev "rgib" is still working hard of on getting CM13 working perfectly on those devices. I have run this rom now for about a full 24 hours and it is as smooth as silk.
Add in "Boeffla" kernel and you have one hello a combination.

just to clarify, I am not the dev to any of the roms in my videos. I just flash them and show you all what is in them and how to do certain things. I will also help with flashing issues, If I can.

I just wanted to clarify that the device numbers for the different models of this tablet are as follows: gt-n5120, gt-n5100 (both LTE models) and the gt-n5110 (Wi-Fi only). "rgib" did the initial build up for this device and once it went official, "sbrissen" took over as the maintainer. each of these devs deserve thanks for giving us Marshmallow on this tablet so make sure that you thank then both for this. Also, the Boeffla kernel is as good as it gets for this tablet and I highly recommend it. Be sure to thank "Lord Beoffla" for the base kernel and "Zane Zam" for porting over and maintaining it for this tablet. "Zane Sam" also makes optimized builds that I highly recommend as well.

Hello David, I just got a Note 8.0 N5100. It still runs the original stock os that came preinstalled with the device. (4.2.2). I was just wondering if you had any tutorial to guide me on the process to installing these custom roms. thanks.

+Brian Efue (bryanstylez) here is a playlist that I have with some of my note 8 videos and a few other good ones. If I can get my Note 8 out of my wife's hands long enough I may make a tutorial on going from stock to CM13. You basically flash TWRP via Odin and go from there. Can you install the official S pen app with this rom?

No. Sorry but the Samsung proprietary S pen apps don't work on CM. Only works on TouchWiz roms. The S pen is still usable but you will not have all of its functions. It will be a fancy stylist.

There are paid apps on the PlayStore that get it close but they never quite get it right.
