CMC Clutch reviewed by Level 3 Rope Techs

3 жыл бұрынWhat's up techs! I am sure many of you have heard of the Clutch from CMC and Harken Industrial. Well, we have one in our Rope Access Training Centre here in Vancouver as well!
CMC Clutch is a device that allows rope techs to perform multiple operations:
Efficient hauling
Controlled lowering
Easy ascending
Smooth descending
Belaying
Twin tensioning

Would have been nice to see it bing used. I have never seen one in person so it would have been nice to have at least seen a close up of it and the features it offers. I still really like y’all’s videos. Keep it up

Thanks! There are a lot of amazing videos on CMC's channel on the Clutch Application. We will see if there is a chance that we can film one ourselves as well! Stay tuned!

It's a great device, in the training center where I teach we use it a lot for hauling systems, but it's really nice for regular rope work as well, I wouldn't mind having it on the working projects this year.
