Actually, playing Toadette increases the timer by 100 seconds, so it’s a trade of less powerups but more time

For a game that was made to "celebrate Luigi", having him doing all the job was contra-productive, so having Luigi do nothing and others do his job on the game that celebrates him is only fair!
