Regulation 232. Methane and other gas monitoring system in case of positive pressure in reservoir -
(1) Suitable automatic on-line or continuous methane monitoring system with audio, visual alarm shall be installed along the gas pipe lines.
(2) Methane monitors shall be installed at intervals of every 500m along the main pine line in the return air path or at such shorter intervals as the Regional Inspector may prefer.
(3) The methane monitor shall be located in front of the electrically actuated valve located in the tracing tube.
(4) Uninterrupted power supply will be maintained in the methane monitoring system.
(5) The air passing through the pipeline shall be monitored by methane monitors.
(6) The calibration of every methane monitor and such system installed shall be done quarterly and the competent person shall record the same in a bound page numbered account maintained for this purpose and shall sign it. The assistant manager and manager in charge of methane exploration and extraction will countersign it.
रेग्यूलेशन 232. रिज़रवायर में सकारात्मक (positive) प्रेशर की स्थिति में मीथेन व अन्य गैस की मॉनिटरिंग प्रणाली (Methane and other gas monitoring system in case of positive pressure in reservoir)-
(1) गैस पाइप लाइनों के साथ-साथ ऑडियो, विजुअल अलार्म वाली उपयुक्त ऑटोमेटिक ऑन-लाइन या कंटीन्यूअस मीथेन मॉनिटरिंग प्रणाली लगाई जाएगी।
(2) रिटर्न हवा रास्ते में मुख्य पाइन लाइन के साथ-साथ प्रति 500m के अंतराल पर या रीजनल इंस्पेक्टर चाहें तो उससे कम अंतराल पर, मीथेन मॉनिटर लगाए जाएंगे।
(3) मीथेन मॉनिटर, ट्रेसिंग ट्यूब में लगे विद्युत्-प्रेरित वाल्व के सामने होंगे।
(4) मीथेन मॉनिटरिंग प्रणाली में निर्बाध पावर सप्लाई (uninterrupted power supply) की व्यवस्था बनाए रखी जाएगी।
(5) पाइप लाइन को पार करने वाली हवा की मॉनिटरिंग मीथेन मॉनिटर द्वारा की जाएगी।
(6) प्रत्येक मीथेन मॉनिटर व ऐसे लगाई गई प्रणाली का कैलीब्रेशन त्रैमासिक किया जाएगा और सक्षम व्यक्ति उसका रिकॉर्ड इसके लिए रखे गए सजिल्द पन्ना नंबरदार खाते में दर्ज करके हस्ताक्षर करेगा। मीथेन एक्सप्लोरेशन व निष्कर्षण के चार्ज वाला असिस्टेंट मैनेजर और मैनेजर उस पर प्रति हस्ताक्षर करेंगे।
