अध्याय 6 नक्शे और सेक्शन (PLANS AND SECTIONS)
रेग्यूलेशन 64. खान के नक्शों के संबंध में सामाय आवश्यकताएं (General requirements about mine plans)-
(1) इन रेग्यूलेशंस के अनुसार बनाए गए या प्रस्तुत किए गए प्रत्येक नक्शे या सेक्शन (plan or section) -
(a) खान और उसके मालिक का नाम तथा नक्शे या सेक्शन का उद्देश्य (purpose) लिखा होगा।
(b) सही उत्तर दिशा (true north) अथवा चुंबकीय देशांतर (magnetic meridian) तारीख के साथ दिखाई गई होगी।
(c) कम से कम 25cm लंबा और उपयुक्त प्रकार से विभाजित किया हुआ स्केल पैमाना (scale) बना होगा।
(d) जब तक अन्यथा उपबंधित न किया जाए, तब तक नवशा या सेक्शन 2000: 1 या
1000 : 1 के पैमाने पर बनाया जाएगा। परंतु चीफ इंस्पेक्टर लिखित आदेश द्वारा, उसमें वर्णित शर्तों पर, नक्शा किसी अन्य पैमाने पर बनाने की अनुमति दे सकेगा या अपेक्षा कर सकेगा।
(e) नक्शा टिकाऊ (durable) कागज, ट्रेसिंग क्लॉथ (tracing cloth) या पॉलिस्टर फिल्म (polyester film) पर स्याही से बनाया जाएगा और अच्छी हालत में रखा जाएगा।
(f) किसी भी खनन स्थल के संबंध में सभी कानूनी प्रतिबंधों (restrictions) का सारांश रेफरेंस के साथ अंकित होगा।
(2) रेग्यूलेशंस द्वारा अपेक्षित (required) नक्शे व सेक्शन बनाने में अनुसूची (sched- ule) में दिखाए चिह्न ही प्रयोग किए जाएंगे।
(3) इन रेग्यूलेशंस द्वारा अपेक्षित नक्शे व सेक्शन ऐसी त्रुटि-सीमा (limits of error) के अंदर (accurate) होंगे जो चीफ इंस्पेक्टर सामान्य या विशेष आदेश द्वारा निर्दिष्ट करे।
(4) रेग्यूलेशंस द्वारा अपेक्षित नक्शे व सेक्शन इस प्रकार अप-टू-डेट किए जाएंगे कि वे 3 महीने पीछे तक संशोधित (corrected) रहें।
परंतु, जब खान या सौम या उसका कोई भाग अबैडंड (abandon) करने, बंद (close)
करने या उसमें काम स्थगित (discontinue) रखने का या अगम्य (inaccessible) करने का इरादा किया जाता है, तो ऐसा करने से पहले सब नवशों व सेक्शन को अप-टू-डेट कर लिया जाएगा। यदि मालिक, एजेंट या मैनेजर के कंट्रोल के बाहर की किसी परिस्थिति के कारण खार अचानक अबैंडंड या बंद करनी पड़ती है या स्थगित करनी पड़ती है, तो नक्शे या सेक्शन पर यह बात लिख दी जाएगी कि वे अप-टू-डेट नहीं किए गए हैं।
(5) सरफेस के सभी रेफरेंस स्टेशन (reference stations) और भूमिगत सर्वे के रेफरेंस पॉइंट (reference points) को, सर्वे प्लॉटिंग की त्रुटि-सीमा के अंदर (within limits of error of survey and plotting), सर्वे ऑफ इंडिया नेशनल ग्रिड (Survey of India national grid) के सापेक्ष में सही स्थित दिखाया जाएगा।
(6) रेग्यूलेशंस के अनुसार रखे गए सब नक्शे व सेक्शन खान की ऑफिस में निरीक्षण के लिए उपलब्ध रहेंगे और रीजनल इंस्पेक्टर के लिखित अनुमोदन के बिना वे तब तक नहीं हटाए जाएंगे जब तक कि उनकी एक सही प्रतिलिपि (true copy) वहां न रखी
Chapter 6 PLANS AND SECTIONS
Regulation 64. General requirements about mine plans -
(1) Every plan or section made or furnished in accordance with these regulations-
(a) The name of the mine and its owner and the purpose of the map or section will be written.
(b) True north or magnetic meridian would be shown along with the date.
(c) The scale shall be at least 25 cm long and suitably divided.
(d) unless otherwise provided, under section 2000:1 or
Will be built on a scale of 1000:1. Provided that the Chief Inspector may, by order in writing, subject to the conditions specified therein, permit or require the drawing of a map on any other scale.
(e) The map shall be made in ink on durable paper, tracing cloth or polyester film and shall be kept in good condition.
(f) A summary of all legal restrictions in respect of any mining site shall be set out by reference.
(2) In making the maps and sections required by the regulations, only the symbols shown in the schedule shall be used.
(3) The maps and sections required by these regulations shall be accurate within such limits of error as the Chief Inspector may, by general or special order, specify.
(4) The maps and sections required by the regulations shall be so up-to-date as to remain corrected for a period of three months.
Provided that, when the mine or mine or any part thereof is abandoned or closed,

If it is intended to be discontinued or made inaccessible, all elements and sections will be brought up to date before doing so. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the owner, agent or manager the works are suddenly abandoned or closed or postponed, the maps or sections will be noted as having not been brought up to date. .
(5) All reference stations of the surface and reference points of the underground survey shall, within limits of error of survey and plotting, be determined by the Survey of India National Grid. of India national grid) will be shown in the correct position.
(6) All maps and sections maintained in accordance with the Regulations shall be available for inspection in the mine office and shall not be removed without the written approval of the Regional Inspector unless a true copy thereof is kept there. .
