Regulation 234. Inspection of methane exploration and extraction machinery and equipment
(1) All installations, pipelines and safety systems shall be inspected daily by an authorized competent person. The test result will be written in the bound page numbered account kept for this purpose and the competent person will sign it and the assistant manager and manager in charge of methane exploration and extraction will countersign it.
(2) A proper log book shall be maintained in which details of repairs and maintenance of pipelines and other installations shall be recorded and a record of the same shall be maintained for
Extraction of methane from operational coal mines or abandoned coal mines
A map and sections of the explored area, showing details of areas that have been fully explored and areas that remain where drilling or other exploration work remains to be done.
(3) The Chief Inspector may, by order in writing, subject to the conditions specified therein, require alterations, amendments or additional requirements to be made in the extraction map or project.
(4) No work shall be commenced unless permission has been given by the Chief Inspector to commence the extraction scheme or project in accordance with this Regulation.
रेग्यूलेशन 234. मीथेन एक्सप्लोरेशन व निष्कर्षण मशीनरी व इक्विपमेंट का निरीक्षण
और जांच (Inspection and examination of machinery and equipment for methane exploration and extraction)-
(1) सभी इंस्टॉलेशन, पाइप लाइन व सेफ्टी सिस्टम की जांच ऑथराइज्ड सक्षम व्यक्ति द्वारा प्रतिदिन की जाएगी। जांचफल इसके लिए रखे गए सजिल्द पन्ना नंबरदार खाते में लिखकर सक्षम व्यक्ति उस पर हस्ताक्षर करेगा तथा मीथेन एक्सप्लोरेशन व निष्कर्षण के चार्ज वाला असिस्टेंट मैनेजर और मैनेजर उस पर प्रति हस्ताक्षर करेंगे।
(2) एक उचित लॉगबुक (logbook) रखा जाएगा जिसमें पाइप लाइन और अन्य इंस्टॉलेशन की रिपेयर व रख-रखाव का विवरण लिखा जाएगा और उसका रिकॉर्ड इसके लिए रखे
चालू कोयला खान या अबैंडंड (परित्यक्त) कोयला खान से मीथेन का निष्कर्षण
गया क्षेत्र का नक्शा और सेक्शन, जिनमें पूरे हुए एक्सप्लोरेशन वाले क्षेत्र तथा शेष बचे हुए क्षेत्र जहां ड्रिलिंग या अन्य एक्सप्लोरेशन कार्य किया जाना बाकी है, के विवरणों को दिखाया गया हो।
(3) चीफ इंस्पेक्टर लिखित आदेश द्वारा, उसमें दी गई शर्तों के अधीन, निष्कर्षण नक्शे या प्रोजेक्ट में परिवर्तन, संशोधन या अतिरिक्त जरूरतों की पूर्ति करने की अपेक्षा कर सकेगा।
(4) जब तक चीफ इंस्पेक्टर की तरफ से इस रेग्यूलेशन के अनुसार निष्कर्षण योजना या प्रोजेक्ट को चालू करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाती है, तब तक यह कार्य शुरू नहीं किया जाएगा।
