Amazing historical footage! I still remember the trains moving through Prince Edward County. Seems it wasn't that long ago. Thanks for capturing this!

On a rented tandem e-bike with my wife along the old right of way a couple summers ago near Picton unbeknownst to her I imagined I was a train. Love the Airchime M 3 H in perfect working order. Glad I came across this. Would also love to see “end-of-days” footage along the old Campbellford Sub. if such existed.

This is excellent! I moved to the local area 10 years after the line was torn up and always wanted to learn more about it.

I found quite a bit of tacconite ore pellets in the roadbed back in the 70's and 80's. I can remember even the Consecon RR station still in place back in those days. It was run down at the time but they should have saved it.

Hey Ryan, amazing video! I love viewing history such as this. By chance do you know if there is more footage, a part 2 perhaps which includes the switching of the cement plant?
