You know what I just realized.... Speed Racer is an anime! So they had to go out of their way to get the rights to reanimate him for this promo! Man Cartoon Network used to be so amazing!

When Judy Jetson and Speed Race get into a car fight, you know CN did something great with the network.

I saw this so many times as a kid, but I completely forgot about it. Just saw the Company Man video on Cartoon Network, which brought me here. Haven’t seen it in well over a decade and a half, and it’s still fresh in my mind rewatching it.

I remember seeing Cartoon Network Spot - Parking Lot produced by Primal Screen on Cartoon Network during intermission on any shows back in 1999.

Wow, I remember this commercial... I remember how much I loved it and how much I laughed at it back in the day.

This actually goes back to 1998. Not sure exact date but I know for a fact its 1998 because there is a CN recording from October 31 1998 on here that features this promo in it. It’s a shame after a while they would omit the part where it’s nighttime and Fred Chicken and Thundarr still never found a space. I think that was largely part because I saw in an October 2000 upload that’s on here they would show this interstitial and it would lead into the one where Yogi can’t find his ID card. Eventually the 2 would air separately and from that point on this would only show them trying to find a space during the daytime. The interstitial with Ugh showing Edd to the recording studio picks up where Yogis id left off because you can see Fred Chicken and Thundarr getting in the elevator together. I’m sure their boss wasn’t too happy it took them so long to find a space. Lol.

Not only were there lots of spaces taken but it seamed to be the most popular parking garage in the city because there were so many reserved spaces. There must have have been a lot of people who booked their spaces. Never going into that garage again until I find out how to book a space reserved for myself. :D

Closer to 2014, Cartoon Network stopped broadcasting not only the golden classics of Hanna-Barbera and Looney Tunes, which were shown on CN despite the fact that there was already a Boomerang, but even the original cartoons from the 90s were removed from the air. Because of this, today's children and teenagers know almost nothing about which cartoons were created before 2010. Because of this, it so happened that my older relatives and I have cartoons in common that I can discuss with them, but I have nothing in common with the younger ones. Hurtful.

This is the reason I prefer the old network cartoon and cartoon network city the most
