I’m seeing an accelerated class in nm that’s 10 days and I’ll be certified, same for medication administration certification… hope I’m not about to be scammed lol 😂

So happy I found your channel! I’m a wife and a mom as well, pursuing nursing as my second career. I start my CNA class (which is a prerequisite for my associates nursing program) in a few weeks!

Thankyou so much for this information, I just finished my first semester in college for my prereqs. I am also in NC, and I am starting my nurse aid class during the fall and I was extremely nervous because I didnt know what to expect. Im glad that you gave me an idea of how the class is going to be. It definitely gave me more comfort and reassurance that I can do this.

Woah I didn’t even realize you’re from North Carolina until I saw the pamphlet. That’s perfect. I start my class may 25th. I’m an upcoming senior in highschool attending early college

Thanks for your information, does an overseas nurse have to take the IELTS test while applying for NNAS if he is working in canada already as a CNA urse aide?

That’s awesome! If you have a chance before the class starts, you can go online and look at the skills test booklet. These are all the steps you’ll need to know to pass the skills test at the end and are the most important part of the class. Also, if you have a manual blood pressure cuff, get practice taking blood pressure and doing the other vitals. CNA exam is very difficult to pass, I can't believe i failed after studying with so many materials😞

Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success

I have a cousin who never studied much, we studied together but she gives most of her time to her phone than her studies after writing the cna exam last month she passed and i failed😢, i asked her how she did it, just found out she got help from Mr Richard 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🫢🫢🫢🫢🫢

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I’m looking at the TEAS study book, the math is daunting to me. Is it very similar on the test ? Science is hard too, but it seems more memorization....

To me, the mometrix math section was even harder than what I had on the TEAS. The science section was a bit harder in my opinion, but I also hadn’t taken any A&P courses yet when I took the TEAS. Hope that’s helpful!

What study guide material did you use for your CNA certification ??

I used the NC Nurse Aide Study Guide that was listed online. I’d check online for the state that you live! I linked what I used the the description also 😊

Do we need Bsc nursing to work as a CNA or only certificate is acceptable? What is the requirements?

The department of health in the state you were immunized have your records. You’ll need to go online to their website and submit your request I believe.

Not really…you do learn to do measurements like weighing patients, taking temperatures, etc. but that is the extent of the math in the nurse aide course.
