How could it be fair that cocoa farmers reap a measly 2% of their products' market value? This is an outrage! This must change now!!!! It is high time that these hard working farmers be righteously compensated!!!.

Great move. Hopefully the two countries stick to their grounds and invite other cocoa producing countries on board. This can become the OPEC of cocoa producing countries. Finally, it’s great to implement all these policies but if the corruption, greed and mismanagement does not end or controlled with appropriate punishment or deterrent, the countries will not enjoy the true benefits of the policies. when will African learn that for them to be economically successful they must industralize. they money is not in raw materials, the money is in the finished product. why are cocoa being shipped out? why not build factories locally that can transform the raw material into finished product?
