India was a thousands of years old civilization. The brand name was already established, plus they had plenty of mercantile races, while Pakistanis had traditionally formed much of British army. The country was an entirely new creation, with Afghan savages lurking on the western border that had already caused massacres after massacres in pre-partition India. The country was supposed to go this way unless a miracle happened, which it didn't.

What's being done to Muslims in India and the way they are marginalized in hindsight it proves Jinnah and Muslim league were right about a separate homeland for Muslims. Even Bengali Muslims have to be thankful to him for creating Pakistan that paved way for their separate land otherwise they will not be so different from Muslims left in India.
