CNC Tutorial - Designing Prismatic Letters With Vectric V Carve and Stepcraft

In this tutorial, we show you how to make a custom Prismatic Letter using Vectric V Carve Pro. These letters can really make your next sign project pop. In the video, we are using a STEPCRAFT Q.408 CNC System with a vacuum table to cut the project.

Great Video! Watching you work I learned a few more things than just how to make prismatic letters. Thank You. Apologies if I missed this, but is there a particular font you used to create that letter B?

It is called Signfoam, otherwise known as HDU (High density Urethane) This was 15# (pound)

How would you remove the tab completely from the finished letter with that material? Thanks

I use a reciprocating multi-tool. Or you can use a sharp knife. I tend to cut a little bit away from the finished material and then use some fine sandpaper to sand flush and you never know it is there

I really would like to purchase one of your machines but I have zero training when it comes to CNC machines and software. I’m former law enforcement and newly widowed. I plan on starting a led sign/engraving business early next year. I would purchase if I knew I would have some instruction.

yes I noticed that I said that once I rendered the video. Good catch :-). I meant .010" Then Thousandths of an inch

I enjoyed the tutorial; but, The background music filler for the demo is WAY TO LOUD which is a common KZfaq problem. Please be considerate of our ears plus the baby "was" sleeping.
