I'm not so sure I agree with the arm's length distance analysis. That may work for a typical 22" monitor, but certainly not every monitor. I use a 34" ultrawide, so if I had my monitor that close, I'd be tilting my neck side to side to see the contents on the screen. I think a good rule of thumb is just to keep it far enough so that you can see the entire monitor comfortably, but close enough so you can read the text accurately.

I use a lazy boy and my 40" TV for my setup, doesn't feel like i could get more comfortable then this... I am on it most of the day, does anyone know if this is actually bad for me? PS I am skinny

that is a no for me regarding a wrist rest. Most individuals drop their wrists unconsciously as they access the keyboard, I would rather that be a softer surface to "glide" across versus planting on a hard desktop.... (as long as it does not interfere with maintaining the elbows in close to the sides, no reaching to homerow...

Yeah same here, but I do see the point they're trying to make in the video. The hands should be at rest and lower assisting in the blood circulation. Putting hands on the table is going to make one feel tight in the shoulder's area and that would lead be slouching or even more horrible posture. Unfortunately my workstation at work itself has the same set up, ni wonder I struggle to maintain the right ergonomic posture for too long.

start out with your chair adjusted with your feet on the floor first. Then everything else. And Windows 8. nope. touching the screen all the time leads to Carpel Tunnel syndrome

This is a horrible video, the monitor distance and height clearly depend on the monitor size.
