TBF, it makes sense in universe, Optimus was originally just Orion Pax, while Megatron was a gladiator. Optimus had to learn to be a warrior, while Megatron was basically born to the role.

Tech wise, they could make a Soundwave with better speaker drivers inside and touch control for in transformed boombox mode. And instead of cassette, it will have transformable SD card with actual SD reader inside to play songs from it.

Pretty sure they can add it later as the line increases, as there is an app. Interface would just need to hear the certain voice frequency, and bang Megatron "is that you PRIME" , Optimus Transform and Roll out. Than everyone does it. I would pay $1500 to $2000 for Voltron set, comes together and creates the Voltron. With the theme music playing from chest of black Loin.

It’s so cool to see the megatron and prime figures moving side by side. You can see them getting better at making the movements. They both look good, but prime’s movements looks a little more stiff sometimes, like a toy. Megatron moving his arms looks so smooth like it’s someone actually moving their arms

Optimus movements are stiff because of the realistic quality, he is so op (not just overpowered but also his initials) that the only way they could debuff him was to make him stiff

One of the reviewers from Indonesia was sent a Megatron robot by Robosen. But stuck at Soekarno Hatta airport Customs, Ckg. Jakarta. Customs charged an illegal fee of 1300 US Dollars so that the goods could be taken. When this news went viral, Indonesian Customs were forced to give Megatron back to the owner by ministry without being able to get the bribe. For anyone who wants to go to Indonesia, especially Jakarta, be careful with your luggage. Because unreasonable taxes can be imposed with the aim of extorting your money. Many Indonesian workers, when they return home, are extorted by Customs at the international airport to Jakarta. Better not going to Jakarta. Just go to Bali, one of Indonesia provinces.

I think vehicle modes will be the biggest deciding factor with these, I imagine pretty much any terrestrial forms will automatically get priority over any flying vehicles.

Honestly, idk how they're gonna do Starscream. Yeah sure drones exist, but: 1. His alt mode is a fighter jet, not a heli. 2. These toys are incredibly heavy, even if they could somehow incorporate drone tech into his jet design it wont even float.

Frank Welker did multiple characters in G1 as well as all of Soundwave's cassettes, Skywarp, Galvatron in Season 3 and the Rebirth episodes, as well as Autobots Mirage and Trailbreaker. His voice was everywhere on the TV series. That they got Frank Welker back in the studio for this robot adds a huge level of authenticity to this new robot from Robosen.

This one is truly impressive. They used TF Armada tank Megatron, with G1 Robot form. I think Scorpinox, would make an excellent titan edition. A robot, a base, a large mechanical scorpion.

It would be cool if there was a mode where they both interacted with each other and played out a scene. A small camera or proximity sensors in each to get them facing each other and positioned properly.

This would have been a wet dream for my 12 year old self, I remember watching the Transformers first episode and was completely blown away by how cool they were. I watched the Gobots when they first came out a few years earlier. They quickly disappeared once the Transformers hit the scene. These self transforming versions were developed by my geeky generation so we could play with them and still feel cool because we know kids can’t afford them. Being older does have some advantages. 😂😂

Robosen should add some kind of ecosystem features into these, maybe via OTA updates. It would be great if these could connect with each other over Bluetooth and enact fight sequences together.

You wish. Sadly for the old optimus Ive seen people complain about breaking functionality. Its a lot of moving parts so its understandable. But I dont know the statistical failure rate for these things. I have the original Optimus, but I have only taken it out of the box on three occasions.

They should do Starscream G1 jet next and use AI to recreate his original voice from Chris Collins (Latta) and give the royalties to his family. This would also allow them to create fellow Seekers...Skywarp and Thundercracker.

I really like this. I’d still have to get Grimlock first. Jet fire would be cool in my opinion or sky lynx. A working version of tryptacon would be awesome. I had him growing up.

I remember my joy having Optimus prime on a new year. Yes it was way smaller and you had to transform him but hand. She has too much fun with this one, and i would too.

There's a lot of servos in there to make him move like that. But once they miniaturize the tech even more, they can make him move even more realistically.

the next needs to be soundwave. Soundwave is going to be really hard to make. They have to deal with mini robots and somehow they all have to fit into the deck of the radio. Starscream would be cool too.

Bridget is my favorite tech reporter. She has enthusiasm but not obnoxiously high and a true geek. I also like how she gets her kids aspect on technology.
