For a big guy like Velo, he has to sound intimidating. Steve Blum nailed his voice perfectly. As a kid while playing nitro kart, he sounded very intimidating to me, and that's how Velo's supposed to sound like.

Andre Sogliuzzo ain't bad in my opinion. Yes, he doesn't hit the menacing level Blum did, but he does sound close, especially in the CTR TV intro.

In all honesty, Andre did pretty good. Steve Blum is a veteran VA so he set a high bar. Steve's Velo sounds intimidating, evil, and like he's going to take everything from you if you lose. Andre's Velo sounds like Velo hasn't had a good challenging race in a while and is excited to find worthy racers to compete against, and like a pompous ruler that has 0 respect for his opponents and citizens. Both do velo justice imo and I would have loved to hear Andre's Velo in a CNK story mode dlc for the game.

Boy was Andre not even close to Steve Blum's Velo. He IS Emperor Velo. What a shame they didn't get him back.

Well I accept andro as an older velo . Velo after he was defeated by crash built a new suit with minor adjustments
