🤔 It's a start but here are some issues if you read the comments: 1) People from BOTH sides have been upset at the numbers of unvetted migrants/asylum seekers entering our country while "sanctuary cities" are ugly messes. 2) If GOP stalled immigration changes then Biden should've used Executive Orders a long time ago already. 3) Shut the borders down completely NOW so we can catch up with processing the ones already applied... which are stretching out to years. 4) Deport/make people wait outside US during processing time, not here so we have to be feed, house, find them jobs, educate their children, etc. 5) If they give birth in US, their illegal children shouldn't become automatic American citizens. 6) Ban people from China, Venezuela, and other countries who won't take back their own citizens if they don't qualify to stay in US. It's NOT fair they're forcing US to accept their people whoever they are whether we wanted to or not. 7) People who threw away their IDs and passports, or claim to have no legal IDs should be automatically rejected.

The requirement that those seeking asylum here not enter illegally is absolutely fair. It's one thing to take your chances, enter illegally, and have to keep under the radar or be expelled. It's another thing entirely to enter illegally and then put in a claim for asylum, whether valid or not, and claim all the assistance that asylum seekers get. For Heaven's sake, there's an app for applying for asylum that can be used in someone's home country or anywhere short of the US/Mexico border. There's no need to enter illegally.

I've been hearing about border security since the 60s. It comes down to Congress, corporations, framers and others wanting cheap labor. Congress that was sent to represent we the people could put a stop to it (legally) immediately if they cared about the Americans.
