Even if I was rich, I wouldn't live in a house this big. I'm single & live alone. This would be way over the top for me. I would, though, enjoy a few acres of wooded land & use my millions to travel, more than spend on a huge mansion for just 1 person. A 1,000 sq ft home is enough for me.

The color pallet of the inside looks so stuffy and rich, not cozy at all. The only thingy I like is the elevator, to be honest. That would be amazing. BUTTT, there's just too many downsides.

Beautiful French designed home. I grew up in a home with an indoor pool as well; we'd have Christmas while swimming near the 16' tall Christmas tree. It was beautifully designed for it's day (a traditional style). But, father died of cancer a few years back, we were told it might have been the off gases of the bromine in the pool water (you can't use Chlorine indoors). Also, you have to keep those doors shut to rest of house or the whole house as all your clothes in closets, even food in the pantry smells like pool water. It's not worth the trade off. My father also designed a dehumidifier that pulled the evaporating water out of the air and put the sterile water back into the pool. It was heated by solar roof panels as well. Low cost maintenance until it ages, and then, you have problems IN the house, as you can't exactly fix a pool so easily when it's under a room with walls. Pro, swimming year round even as it snows! Con, too many cons to make it worth the expense.
