What I like about Coach is that it dealt with real issues involved with coaching College Football such as NCAA violations, recruiting, etc. in a humorous and thoughtful manner. Here, it deals with the arms race in terms of facilities and how a coach must convince academics who are hostile to sports to spend money on improvements.

I remember this episode most of all . . Lol!! Shameless, insensitive, single minded, etc. etc . 'And then she tore the check to shreds in front of his . . divorced . . eyes. 🤣 He deserved every last shred. Craig Nelson and that lady played it so well, I felt sorry for him . . for a minute or two.
