As a 47 year old father, I'm thrilled to see that Quincy has this man in his life, not because of the great coach he is, but because of the human being he is.

He won the moment he showed up at this meet excited, head up, focused and believing he could go out there and compete with Grown Men, seasoned vets and World champions. You can’t teach that kind of confidence and focus. BIG fan of this kid even if he never wins a race again.

Seems like Quincy couldn't ask for a better coach. Three rounds will take its toll and Quincy had all three rounds under 45. Even one under 45 for a 16 year old is incredible. What a wonderful story. I hope that this is only the first chapter in a much longer story of success.

No wonder this kid has the poise and character he has. I mean, obviously, his parents and family have the biggest hand in that, sure, but still. He is a great role model and obviously is doing something right with his training. Thank you Coach, looking forward to what he does in the future! *IF* of course he doesn't get pulled into the relay pool. What a story! I can't forget to mention Christian Miller as well. Another absolute stud high schooler, getting sub 10 in the 100m finals as well. Dude's gonna be one to watch as well!

There are levels to accomplishing goals. He accomplished a lot of those levels. He made it to Olympic trials. He ran the first race got it. He ran the second race, got it, He ran the third race, got it. He just didn’t come out in the top three to automatically go to the Olympics. He placed top 6 out of all the athletes that ran the 400m (total amount for all three races). He got three 44’s. He has life long fans. He ministered to all those that are watching. He inspired all ages especially youth. He represented God well. I could go on and on. Mr. Q. Wilson, You’re a wonderfully talented human being. Coach, parents, and everyone else that poured in to his life, I thank you. Mr. Q. Wilson, stay with God! Watch what HE will do.

The best part is there should not have been any pressure on him like he said in one of his interviews! No one knows anything about him! So whatever he did or didn’t do it’s still good! No one said anything bad about him! So not sure why you are saying about pressure! Only what we put on ourselves! He’s 16 he has a lot more track left ahead of him!

not true at all. thats how the lane settings work. its all laid out before the event. He placed 3rd in his heat and was the fastest 3rd place finisher, so could only go into lanes 2 or 3. its then a random draw. he drew lane 2, Boling got lucky and drew lane 3. lane 1 goes to the only 4th place finisher that qualified.

The trial committee cheated this kid all way through out the trials they gave him hardest heats. While Micheal Norman was pampered and showed favouritism to make the team. Micheal Norman Heats consisted mainly of College kids. Lane 2 was not befitting for Quincy.
