Coach K got emotional talking about the moment before the Duke game featuring fellow Basketball Hall of Famer Denny Crum and Louisville interim Coach Mike Pegues.

As a diehard Carolina fan, I don’t think people realize even though I don’t like Duke it’s still the truth. I don’t think people even realize what he has done for the game in itself. What he has done is unprecedented. People don’t even have any idea what he has done for the game of college basketball people don’t understand. Especially this generation who didn’t grow up watching him. People seem to forget what he has done. There will never be another Coach K. For a coach in college basketball, he is right in there with names like Serena Williams Michael Jordan Tiger Woods etc., and that’s not even a joke. What he has brought to college basketball is unmatchable. There will never be another like him. I don’t care who coaches in the future there will never be another whether you like him, or not, he is one of the greatest coaches to ever coach the game. Period. He is a true ambassador to the sport. He will be missed dearly after this year. 🐐

I am anxious to see how Coack K is received in his last appearance of the Battle of the Blues in the Dean Dome on February 5th 2022. Much respect from a long time UNC fan.

Even though you are a fan of his arch rival, you do admire and respect the greatness. Rivals can show respect, even for the people that represent an entity that they despise. That's called class.

He is definitely the most successful coach to come out of the Bob Knight coaching tree. He definitely had a different way of motivating players but, probably the most important thing he picked up from coach Knight was how to run a clean program.

I got hurt in a work accident in Louisville on Jan 5th. I had been working in Louisville for 7 months and when I found out that Duke was coming to play in Louisville I got so excited. Me being a life long Duke fan from Texas , I was finally getting the chance to see Duke play and see coak K in his final season was going to be special. Well the accident happened and I am sitting by the window at Frazier rehabilitation hospital downtown Louisville. I could see the KFC yum center from my window watching the game on TV. So close yet so far. It wasn't meant to be. Good luck coach K!!! Louisville did good honoring him with their legendary coach. The Louisville slugger bat was cool and the blue makers mark bottle. 2 of the best programs!!!!!

I'm also a life long fan from Texas. My gf works for a sports network. Knowing I never got to see a game, she tried to get us tickets for today's game against NC. Forget about it. No bueno. 😫😥😩

As a kentucky fan you gotta give credit where credit is due. Coach k is one of the greatest coaches ever. Good luck to him in retirement. Coach Crum was also a great coach. Give him his respect too. I'll miss seeing him and Coach hall sitting together. Rip Coach hall. And unlike most Kentucky fans I do not hate on louisville. When both louisville and kentucky are good it's good for college basketball hope louisville can get a good coach and turn it around.

Coming from a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan, Coach K is the greatest college basketball coach of all time. 😂 I hate Duke 😆, but Coach K does and has done so many great things for his players, as many coaches do but he's won at the highest level on several platforms. Congratulations Coach K. ✌️💙

My only Black mark on Rick is the Scandal that happened at Louisville . How bad or not bad was that recruiting situation with Go Go Dancers ? What did Rick know ? Coach K never did anything like that .
