We actually never used the term catch for an open hand interception, we always cal that a pic, the forehead cover as you called it we use the term catch, everything is a Catch when blocking shots to the head and body, when using an open hand its a parry or pic, we've been training this way for many years, but its always interesting to see how others trip as well..

Indeed. I practice kickboxing so that may be the distinction. I've been trying to learn this drill for the longest so I appreciate the post.

victorrain base combo is 7 punches total if u remember that.. Then it should be no problem calling out the next set of combinations even u call them before double hooks or after.. As long as your quick on calling out the next.

When does the puncher do the called move? Because it looks like she does it after the right uppercut.
