Ron's passive aggressive one liners are a thing of beauty. I love how it seems to take Don 1.5 seconds to process the comment and then proceeds to explode.

passive agressive anything is never a thing of beauty. It would finally lead to Ron throwing Don under the bus ike a turncoat Judas.
@danbrooks506010 ай бұрын
@@skinnie2838 yes, that's an apt comparison, since, as any fan of the show would know, Don was especially known for being Christ-like. seriously though, are you a professional clown or just a hobbyist? love Don as much as anyone but obviously Ron was never the one to blame for him being taken off air.

Yeah, like the time Ron just passively let his friend Don get roasted and sacked by execs. Classic Ron.

If you made a time lapse of every episode of Coach's Corner, you'd see Ron slowly lose his will to live.
@AFroese8 жыл бұрын
+Andrew C Although even on some of the Coach's Corners in the later 2000s Ron was still on point. He would let Don go on about something and like someone watching an Ebay auction count down he would interject with one of his famous just before they would cut to commercial and you could see the exasperation on Don's face that his colleague got the last word in.

Early in 1985, Vince McMahon put Jesse Ventura opposite himself commentating WWF wrestling. Starting from there, they've run with the "straight man"/"heel" commentary teams right up to this day. But here in this video we can clearly see that Vince got the idea from Hockey Night In Canada, and this right here is the original "straight man"/"heel" team.
