I didn't know coaches could block others even after turning around. It's a pretty savage rule actually to block other coaches openly. 😂

I've noticed from watching these voice compilations and living in America and watching the voice USA every season that the coaches on the USA voice are very critical when someone covers their song in the blinds they usually don't turn around but the other countries the artist turns around a lot

The guy singing glory and only one judge turning is unbelievable. Amazing voice and that song is hard to sing. I really enjoyed all the singers. So much talent with all these singers. We have the pleasure of listening to all the different voices to songs by famous artist. I really enjoy all the talent shows on TV. Some of my favorite shows to watch. So many go on to become famous artist from these shows that otherwise could never happen without the start on The Voice and AGT to name a few.

I honestly hate the block options in the first part of the video. It prevents the auditionees from choosing the correct coaches who will help them reach their full potential.

While I don't agree that only that one judge can help them reach their full potential, it does stink if they wanted that judge. Australia is the worse since they can block after they already turned

Yeah it's like they do it out of spite towards the other judge or just to be cocky, like "just cuz I can!" Not really caring about or seeing the singers full potential in that moment. Plus, it shouldn't be for someone else to decide anyway.

Why would you block someone when the contestant is singing their song. They might be doing it so they can hopefully choose that judge and you're ruining their chance. What if it was their dream to have that judge as their coach. Ive never liked the block button and dont think it should be a thing

@@ricki60 did you watch the video? There's blocks in this. It's where you can block a judge when they turn around so if they do turn they're not allowed to be chosen by the contestant

Does anyone else find the blocking rule really stupid? It essentially just eliminates the chance of the performer getting to work with who they actually want to. (E.g the first clip with Rita getting blocked).

Well Keith Urban was blocked on an Original song that the contestant wrote "for" him. She combined titles of Keith's songs and it included his name. Keith was blocked after the song.

So.... the moral of the story here is: If you want to guarantee that you get seeded into the Voice brackets, all you need to do is sing a song by one of the coaches (of your preference) and sing (don't butcher) their song. They almost always turn around as long as the singer doesn't obliterate the song. In my personal opinion, coaches songs should be banned from blind auditions. Now, having said that, I would like to point out that some of them were good.... but, I would NOT have turned for ALL of them.
