( b) biogas , biogas is not a fossil fuel because it comes from the animal's waste like dung , which are first dried in the sun and burn in the night time or when it is required to use , it is generally used in villages and it is also known as Godar gas , mainly it contains methane .

As a result, the methane and carbon dioxide produced in biogas come from recently living organisms rather than from ancient sources like fossil fuels. Since biogas is derived from renewable organic materials and does not involve the combustion of ancient carbon deposits, it is classified as a renewable energy source rather than a fossil fuel.
