Way to go Lauren. Your words were wonderfully thoughtful and well said, and her words were beautifully sung. I got to meet Loretta once for all of about 1 minute. Time enough though for her to let me feel (as she did everyone) that at that moment noone else existed and I had her full attention. Such a warm and lovely woman. We grieve our loss of her. She brought so much joy to so many. One more legend gone on, and one step closer to real country music vanishing. Of course, as long as there are performers like you and some of the other young talents who still love classic country, they will live on. There is no such thing as too country for country music. Continue keeping their legacy alive Lauren. Your classic covers blended with your original songs are a wonderful gift to all. We will all miss you Loretta.
