Ras’s flow is so unique that I don’t know if I’ve ever heard anybody do it like that. He didn’t always have the diction and enunciation down perfectly in other videos but he got it down to science now. You can see these guys growing in real time 🔥

Coast Contra's one of those groups of artists that makes you glad you're alive at the same time as them. Their dedication to pushing style in rap is awesome in the truest sense of the word. I can find something to admire in just about any artist, but it's so rare to find EVERYTHING to admire in a single artist, let alone a group of them that all work together. Just wow.

Yeah, Rio's bars are so underrated because of the American mentality that anything requiring a translation is automatically "weaker" than the others. Rios flow and cadence while language switching is so dope and gritty that I don't even care what he's saying in Spanish, lol.

So many double entendres and homophones, you can only appreciate that if you speak the language. A simply translation would do it a disservice and not convey how great it is. I don’t speak Spanish though, so maybe that doesn’t matter.

That Steph Curry bar is deeper than people have been giving it credit for. "No look passes" is a double about how they're passing the mic, starting a verse as the other one ends. "Putting magic in this next dish" Magic Johnson is all time leader in assists/dishes. Then the last line that already knows.

The spit fire to pit fire bar is the most slept on bar imo. Rio's delivery of that bar was flawless when he said who you think started this pit fire because you would normally use matches or a lighter to start a fire, but Rio used spit to start it, sheesh!

Amazing reaction! This is the type of reactions we all love! Hearing your feed back but also seeing your live reaction to hearing the bars, I get in some cases you have to make the videos concise and cut / edit a lot out for copyright reasons but I’m sure the core followers agree we love seeing every facet of your reactions

seems to be about 15 seconds of the song cut from the video , probably a mistake in editing but not the end of the world just sucks how reacting always gets rushed in videos not just from you guys everyone does it because time is money and youtube makes its this way. Each one of the members of Coast Contra brings his own perspective, flow, and lyricism. The reviewers I've seen of the group, however, uniformly do THE GROUP and their unique power a disservice by essentially skipping over RioLoz's Spanish language bars. Go deeper y'all! Translate the lyrics!!! There is a lot there. As a person of Afro-American and Afro-Careibean descent, I see what he is doing as REVOLUTIONARY. Just like the pioneers of rap, these brothers are reaching back and across and trying to bring their people with them...including their Colombian people.

@@Pete.. they did put out the extended version. Personally I didn't like how they did it. Up until this point it was on KZfaq and was a video. So when they kept posting it on social media although they didn't make any promises but they didn't clarify some things either at least myself thinking they would be dropping a video as usual but instead they dropped the extended version only streaming site the I personally never heard of in the song was available for download and on this particular site you can choose to pay whatever you decide to pay on some of the songs rather than a standard fee. So they did not drop the video as usual they dropped the song on this streaming service and I'm not sure if it's exclusive but I haven't seen the song anywhere else extended version at least not at the time when it originally dropped but maybe it's somewhere available now send more than likely somebody uploaded somewhere. At the time there was nowhere to hear the extended version of the song I guess one just had to have faith that it was fired like the endorsement version and since you could pay whatever you want I guess you wouldn't have to really worry about feeling like you got burnt can you play a low amount to download it and then find out the extended version came up short somehow.
