Great video! Where you stayed at Stray Cat is called the Red Zone, is a not pretty safe area. Also in the center of San José is not very safe at night, that’s why they close everything. But, like 15 minutes from that area, there are two places that you could be hosted and enjoyed nightlife everyday, they are called: Barrio Escalante and the other one is La Cali, so my suggestion is that next time you come to San José, is better to choose a hostel or AirBNB very close from that places. Barrio Escalante is full of bars, restaurants, coffee places and ice cream places, is more to chill and La Cali is full of bars is more to party a lot. Pura vida!

@@JuiceandLoof next time you come to our country, you could go. There are plenty of places you could visit next time such as La Fortuna, Rio Celeste, Nauyaka Waterfalls, Tortuguero National Park, Corcovado National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, and beautiful beaches at Guanacaste such as Playa Conchal, Playa Flamingo, etc
