The other beautiful day on my short break in Norfolk.
I have updated my Nano Goblin to the DJI O3 video system allowing for lovely 4K video to be captured along with HD video transmission.
Used one battery to test it's flight and get some Autolevel and Autotune done, followed with some beauty flights up and down the beach.
2nd fresh charged battery fitted and I set off over the sea to fly over the offshore windfarm, however events threw me a wobbler!

Great cinematic views of the coast. That was an unexpected turn of events at the end. Glad it all worked out. A good reminder, as the hotter days of summer will soon be here.

I predict that plane will be getting a few air intakes cut in and directed at that O3 unit! I bet that one had the heart pounding!

Yep! It sure did!! two big air vents added, a nice long test flight validated the additional cooling.

Amazing, and the nail bite music was an ingenious choice! Apart from cooling, did the air unit entail major space or balance issues in the tiny Nano G?

I had a previous version with a vista vtx and a peanut mounted above. Swapping these two for the O3 only increased the weight by 10gms and CofG was easy to obtain.

Very nice! What goggles are you using and do you have an INAV OSD working? Well I see you have a limited osd there. Love my Nano G but still fly it analog, run hdzero on the old original ZOHD Dart. Because of the cost of the 03, I want to include its own FC pan/tilt/servo harness to be able to more easily move it between a couple planes.

Making a swappable pod for O3 does make sense as it's certainly quite pricey. On the nano Goblin, it would be too heavy, keeping it light is the only way to end up with a good flying model.
